GREENCARDS
Family-Based Immigration:
Sponsor your relative for a greencard with an i-130 Petition for Alien Relative (family based immigration).
In your order to be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:
· U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident.
· Willing to sponsor your relative for permanent residency
· Ability to financially support your relative.
U.S. Citizens may sponsor the following relatives:
- Husband, wife, or unmarried children under the age of 21 years of age.
- Parent(s) (if you are at least 21 years of age)
- Unmarried son or daughter over the age of 21.
- Married son or daughter of any age.
- Brothers or sisters, if you are at least 21 years of age.
Greencard Holder (lawful permanent resident) may sponsor the following relatives:
- Husband or wife;
- Unmarried children or adults;

Employment-Based Immigration:
Sponsor your employee for a greencard with an i-140- Petition for Alien Worker (employment based immigration). In order to be eligible, you must provide evidence of any of the following:
· Extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics
· Experience as outstanding university professor or researcher
· In the past 3 years, 1 year of employment as a multinational executive or manager for the foreign affiliate of the petitioning U.S. company
· Exceptional ability in the sciences, arts, or business,
· A Masters degree and has been offered employment of which is in the national interest (national interest waiver)
· A Masters degree, or a Bachelors degree with 5 years progressive experience
· A Bachelors degree or two or more years experience
· PERMANENT LABOR CERTIFICATION and evidence that the worker qualifies for the position.

Adjustment of Status (i-485)
If your priority date is current, you may to apply for adjustment to permanent residency if you fall under one of the following categories:
· You have an approved family based immigration petition, or are filing it concurrently;
· You have an approved employment based immigration petition, or are filing it concurrently;
· You entered the US on a K-1, Fiancé Visa, and married that US citizen within 90 days of your date of entry.
· If you are an asylee or refugee who has been in the US for at least a year after being given asylum or refugee status and still qualify as one.
· If you received notice from the Department of State that you have won a visa in the Diversity Visa Lottery.
· If you have continuously resided in the US since before January 1, 1972.
· If you are a native or citizen of Cuba, and were admitted into the US after January 1, 1959, and thereafter were physically present in the US for at least one year.
